A man who was dramatically arrested by heavily armed police in the carpark of Bunnings Byron Bay yesterday has been charged.
The 44-year-old Kingscliff man appeared in Ballina Court today facing two counts of having a gun without a permit.
The arrest forms part of an ongoing strike force investigation into the illegal supply of firearms.
