Two men have been charged with seven offences following a violent robbery in Casino.
It’s alleged the men, aged 33 and 44, threatened another man with a hammer in William Street late last night.
The 45 year old attempted to drive away but his car was allegedly rammed from behind.
Police say the victim was then confronted with a loaded firearm.
“It’s further alleged….one of those offenders has pointed a fire arm at the man and threatened to obviously hurt him.”
The victim’s vehicle was then taken to Caniaba where it was set on fire.
Both the accused were arrested early Monday morning and were refused bail to appear in Lismore Local Court tomorrow.
A third man was arrested over the incident on Monday afternoon.
