Work on the $1.8 million dollar Bowlers Lane upgrade has passed the half way mark.
The road’s increased capacity is seen as a vital step for the future of Tamworth’s food processors and intermodal freight project.
“Many, many heavy vehicles travel this road. We’re looking to get HML, B-Double accreditation for it by Christmas time and this is going to be just one of those other very important pieces of the puzzle.”
