NEW WATER SAVING MEASURES PROPOSED FOR NEW TAMWORTH BUILDINGS
Tamworth Regional Council is investigating a series of water-saving measures, as the city’s supply continues to dwindle.
As part of its proposal, all new residential and commercial buildings would be fitted with specialist water-saving devices.
“One of those compulsory ones will be the pre-plumbing in new developments to incorporate grey water re-use.””So that the grey water is not just going down the drain but it’s going either back into the toilet or onto the garden.”
Residents are invited to have their say on the proposal on council’s website.
