CENTRAL COAST RECORDS ITS FIRST COVID-19 CASE IN THREE WEEKS

The Central Coast has recorded its first coronavirus case in three weeks over the weekend.

115 people have recovered from the illness out of the region’s 117 confirmed cases.

While one person remains in hospital.

We’re being reminded not to be complacent – and any residents showing any flu-like symptoms are encouraged to get tested.

*Please note: the total number of confirmed cases appears unchanged since the last update on May 5, as one of the previous confirmed cases is now being cared for outside the region. That case is no longer included in the total numbers, reducing the Central Coast’s tally to 116. The new confirmed case noted above brings the total back to 117.
