YOUNG PEOPLE CALLED TO REPRESENT TAMWORTH ON YOUTH COUNCIL

Young people between the ages of 15 and 18 are being encouraged to put their hand up for a spot on Tamworth’s Youth Council.

The role is an opportunity for teenagers to make a stand on community issues that are of importance to them.

The Youth Council meets regularly to work on a variety of projects.

However, during Covid-19, it’ll hold its meetings online.

“Young people of Tamworth involved with the Youth Council can expect to have a first-hand experience in leadership, as well as learning to work together as a team and learning those soft skills, like communication.”

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in a nomination – visit Council’s website.
