Flights have returned to the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport following the Federal Government regional airline assistance packages.
Four return services will run between Ballina and Sydney every week.
Jetstar will fly each Thursday and Sunday, while FlyPelican will operate each Tuesday and Friday.
The services are for essential travel only.
