Five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Northern New South Wales Local Health District, bringing the region’s total to 22.
It comes after a spike on Tuesday, with 10 people testing positive in the area.
More than 1400 people have undergone testing for the disease at local clinics in recent weeks.
COVID-19 flu clinics are operating at Lismore Base Hospital, The Tweed Hospital and Grafton Base Hospital daily.
