Palace Cinemas has temporarily closed all theatre locations across Australia, including the Byron Bay branch.
The decision to close comes after Government advice suggested all non-essential public gatherings be cancelled or postponed.
The General Manager of Palace Cinemas Byron Bay, Eli Ayo, says movies will return to the screens as soon as circumstances allow.
“Once this all blows over I’m confident we’ll all be going to watch movies again,” Ayo said.
