Northbound lanes of the Pacific Highway were closed south of Newcastle this morning, after a boat went up in flames while on a trailer at Lake Macquarie.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near Cams Wharf Road just after 10 o’clock, arriving to find the vessel well alight.
It took firefighters around half an hour to put out flames.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
