Armidale Regional Council has praised residents for doing their best to conserve water.
The city’s under level five restrictions, but individuals are using an average of 150 litres a day.
That’s 10 less than the target.
It’s meant the local supply has been extended until December next year.
Residents can expect further water saving initiatives to be introduced soon.
