Exactly 40 years ago today, Oakvale Wildlife Park opened its doors at Salt Ash… the family-run attraction marking the occasion this morning by welcoming three more furry friends.
Meerkats Juno, Tilly and Scampie roamed around nearby, while a koala-shaped cake was served up to celebrate.
*Hip hip, hooray. Hip hip, hooray.*
“We’re very passionate about what we do, and to us, it’s just the, the best feeling to get up and come to work everyday.”
Meerkat encounters are due to start within weeks.
