A North West man has died after he lost control of his car just east of Armidale this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Waterfall Way at Wollomombi just after 10 o’clock where they found the driver had crashed into a tree.
The car burst into flames, and he died at the scene.
The driver has since been identified as The Armidale School Headmaster, 60 year old Murray Guest.
