A Merewether man has been arrested over a break and enter at The Junction earlier this month.
It’s alleged the 51 year-old smashed a hole in the glass door of a business on Glebe road, entered, and stole property including a charity tin on the 14th of October.
Police arrested the man just before 4pm on Monday at an address in Ocean Street, Merewether.
He was charged with break, enter and steal, and is due to appear in Newcastle Local Court on Tuesday.
