TROG CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF CANCER RESEARCH
The Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group celebrated 30 years of cancer research on Sunday with a high-tea, raising money for cancer trials in the Hunter.
TROG as it’s known was established in 1989, and works closely with the Calvary Mater hospital.
“We’ve actually done 105 trials across Australia and New Zealand and had over 1200 patients participate in those trials across the Hunter.” – Susan Goode, TROG CEO.
Today’s High Tea was expected to raise around $10,000 for the cause.
