MAN CHARGED OVER ASSAULT AT FORSTER HOME
A 30-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was attacked in his Forster home on Thursday.
Police have been told a man known to the resident arrived on the doorstep at the Goldens Road address at around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, when the pair became involved in an argument.
A knife was later pulled on the man, who was left with serious injuries to his chest and arm.
Both men fled the scene, with the 30-year-old admitted to Manning Base Hospital for treatment.
Following inquiries, a 32-year-old man was arrested.
He’s set to face Forster Local Court later today, charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
