A 25-year-old man is lucky to be alive after his car rolled on a rural road on the Mid North Coast.
The man suffered head, spinal, arm and pelvic injuries in the crash on Cabbage Tree Road near Bulahdelah on Monday.
Upon arrival, emergency services found the man trapped within the wreckage of the upturned car, with the delicate rescue taking several hours.
He was airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
