A 39-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital, after a serious crash on the Newell Highway in the state’s north west.
Emergency services were called to the crash at Bellata late on Saturday afternoon, after reports multiple cars had collided.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 30’s trapped in the wreckage of his car.
He was eventually cut free, before being flown to Tamworth Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Two others were taken to Narrabri and Moree for treatment.
