A Lake Macquarie cafe and restaurant has gone up in flames.
The iconic Awaba House at Booragul at Lake Macquarie was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived, flames leaping five metres into the air.
12 trucks are on the scene and there are no reports of injuries at this stage.
