FIFTH ARREST AS PART OF INVESTIGATION INTO HEROIN SUPPLY IN NEWCASTLE
Police investigating the supply of heroin in the Newcastle area have made another breakthrough, with a 40-year-old man arrested in Sydney.
The man was taken into custody by detectives from Strike Force Toocooya at Eagle Vale in Sydney’s south west on Monday morning.
Following his arrest, he was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with a series of drug related offences.
He was granted conditional bail, and will face court in August.
Four others remain before the courts as part of the investigation, in total, charged with more than 400 offences.
