PEDESTRIAN KILLED SOUTH OF LISMORE

A pedestrian has died after he was struck by a car on the Bruxner Highway in the state’s north.
Emergency services were called to South Gundurimba, just south of Lismore, at around 9:30 on Thursday evening, after reports a pedestrian had been hit by a Lexus.
The man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the Lexus was uninjured and taken to Lismore Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
Anyone with information surrounding the crash is asked to contact local police.
