A year ten student from Armidale has finished eighth in a statewide neuroscience competition in Sydney.
Syed Mehdi Ahsan went head to head with some of New South Wales’ brightest high school students at the Australian Brain Bee last week.
“It was a good booster, knowing that I was among the top few people here and being the only rural student there was also kind of a big push.”
Medhi says the competition has inspired him to study either medicine or neuroscience.
