Manning Base Hospital is set to get a brand new cancer unit thanks to a round of federal funding.
Nationals MP, David Gillespie, says it will mean reduced travel times for local cancer patients.
The hospital is one of 13 regional towns benefitting from a $63-million boost for radiation therapy services.
