As the Chief Court Reporter, Tyson has covered some of the biggest court cases from across the Hunter and northern New South Wales. Tyson started with the Nine Network in 2007 and has worked in newsrooms in Sydney, the Gold Coast, and Brisbane. A proud Novocastrian, Tyson has spent the majority of his journalism career reporting on the stories that matter in his hometown. Tyson has a Bachelor of Communications from Charles Sturt University.
