ANOTHER COUNCIL SPENDING THOUSANDS TO UPDATE BRANDING
Less than a month after Newcastle Council copped criticism over its $50,000 new logo, Lake Macquarie has updated its branding.
Moving away from the black and white sailing boat image, the council wants to make its blue and white letters logo more prominent within the community.
It will also be used in different colours, to promote different things.
The council says it paid $45,000 for the “brand strategy and creative work”.
