A Curlewis man has been charged with fraud offences, police allege relate to dodgy dealings at the Gunnedah saleyards.
Police have been investigating the 37-year-old’s actions over a five-year period, in which they allege the contractor overcharged local agents for delivery and branding fees when transporting cattle.
Investigators say the man over-invoiced for the processing of over 59,000 head, receiving more than $35,000 above what he was entitled to.
He’ll face court in April.
