WATER WOES ACROSS THE NORTH WEST
Bundarra residents are still being encouraged to boil their water before consumption, after problems with the treatment of town water has seen it deemed ‘unsafe.’
Uralla Shire Council says it’s working to fix the issue.
Meanwhile, Werris Creek residents will move to level 1 restrictions tomorrow.
Liverpool Plains Shire Council says it’s a demand response, not a drought response – with the current high temperatures seeing a spike in water use.
Council also expects towns running off water from Quipolly Dam to be hit with restrictions by mid-March.
