A 34-year-old man has been charged, after drugs and cash were seized in a vehicle stop at Nimbin in the state’s north.
Officers stopped a car in the early hours of Monday morning, with the driver, a Girards Hill man, returning a positive roadside drug test.
He was arrested, with a search of the car uncovering methylamphetamine, almost $10,000 in cash, as well as packets of prescription medication.
The man was charged with a string of offences including two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
He’ll face Lismore Local Court later today.
