After more than 40-years of tireless charity work Howard Mole was today named a Freeman of the City of Newcastle.
Mr Mole was the driving force behind the Newcastle Toy Run, the oldest annual event of its kind in Australia.
Mr Mole is the 14th person to be named a Freeman of the City.
