A long running battle over noise levels at a beachside cafe in Old Bar has been resolved.
Liquor and Gaming have imposed an LA10 noise condition on Flow Bar, allowing the business to to play live music every day until 10.30pm.
In response to previous complaints, the owners extended a petition to their community – receiving more than 2,500 supporters within a three week period.
“You could just see the passion in peoples voice, they really loved what we were doing for the community, it gave them a place where they would go and eat good food, have a drink, enjoy live music.”
Flow Bar’s owners say they’ll continue to stage live music while respecting their neighbours and the Liquor and Gaming guidelines.
