Emergency services were kept busy this afternoonafter a fire broke out at wreckers yard in West Tamworth.
Fire crews were called to the Green Street business just before two o’clock, to find around 20 vehicles alight.
While there was no impact to nearby properties, 20 people were evacuated from homes on Sue Cresent.
It took firefighters several hours to contain the blaze.
