Merewether pilot Matt Hall has unveiled his team’s new look, ahead of round one of the Red Bull Air Race world championship.
“We’ve got new branding on the aircraft. Unfortunately it’s come in a bit heavy but it’s an amazing paint job so we’re trying to work out how to make the weights work so we’re competitive.”
Having finished sixth last year, Hall is determined to challenge for the title.
But a win at Abu Dhabi isn’t essential.
“For our confidence, what we’re going to be looking more at is how we stack across training, qualifying and racing. If we’re doing really well, we know we can do well throughout the year.”
