GOLD COAST JEWELLERY STORE HELD-UP
Police have released details of a man they wish to speak to following the armed robbery of a jewellery store on the Gold Coast.
The incident happened at a business on Minnie Street in Southport, at around 10pm last night.
The man, believed to be armed with a firearm, stole cash and jewellery before also stealing the employee’s car and driving off.
The employee was not physically injured, and the stolen car was later recovered.
The man involved is described as approximately 175cms tall with a New Zealand accent, and was wearing a black hooded jumper/jacket, black tracksuit pants and thongs.
Anyone with any information about the robbery is urged to contact police.
