Illegal drugs have been seized from a truck police pulled over after it was driving dangerously in the Northern Rivers region.
Police say the truck was being driven in a menacing manner, including tailgating another vehicle between Lismore and Casino, just before midnight.
The vehicle was stopped at Johnston Street in Casino, and the 39-year-old driver underwent tests.
It’s alleged he returned a positive result for drugs and during a subsequent search of the truck, police say they located about 5 grams of what’s believed to be methylamphetamine.
He was charged with a variety of offences, including possessing a prohibited drug and driving a motor vehicle in a menacing manner.
He will appear at Casino Local Court next month.
