TAREE SHOW TO KICK OFF FRIDAY
The final preparations are being made ahead of the 139th Taree show, which gets underway tomorrow.
Entry is free with organisers promising plenty of entertainment for all ages.
All of the usual attractions from cattle and poultry judging to woodchopping and chainsaw events are on the program, as well as some exciting additions.
“One of the new attractions this year is noah’s racing pigs through the day, several events of that, also the snake and reptile man and we go into the evening program with motorbikes and a big fireworks display,” said Milton Johnston.
The show will be opened by former Olympian and equestrian great John Fahey.
Gates swing open at 8am.
