The Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Red Rock, north of Coffs Harbour, is in for a revamp.
The centre has been granted $138,000 by the state government to carry out a refurbishment of its premises.
The grant will allow an upgrade of the art gallery, museum and conference centre, which plays a major role in the preservation and exhibition of local Indigenous culture.
Local MP, Andrew Fraser, says the project will benefit the community by making it easier for people to access Aboriginal arts and culture.
