TAMWORTH BATTLING RESURGENT SAINTS

The Tamworth Thunderbolts’ seven match winning streak faces an acid test tomorrow night in Sydney, against St George.
The Saints have won 10 of their last 11 matches.
Tamworth will travel without Chris Skilton and Max Chillingworth, but the team’s two big men David Bourke and Cody Miller will take the chance to get some miles in their legs before the playoffs.
“Bourkey’s done a great job of doing that, setting those screens and just kind of his leadership on the floor has really helped us a lot. Same thing with Cody Miller. Cody’s really good at setting his screens and hits some nice little mid range shots.”
The women’s side have a bye this week, before a double header in Sydney next weekend.
