Three months after the shocking case came to light, 30 tonnes of illegally-dumped building and demolition waste still hasn’t been removed from an industrial estate near Kurri Kurri.
A 46-year-old Thornton man has been fined and ordered to clean up the area, after a joint investigation by authorities.
The rubbish was discovered in February by Hunter Economic Zone employees.
