Police are investigating after three girls were located in Taree, in a car reported stolen from the Gold Coast.
Officers allege the children – aged 15, 13 and 12 – traveled nearly 550-kilometres south, before being spotted at a service centre.
“They’re in the care of the Family and Community Services. Hopefully reunited with their parents in the not to distant future. They’ll be dealt with in relation to a stolen vehicle under the young offenders act.”
