Jets W-League players Gema Simon and Chloe Logarzo have earned a call-up to the 25-player Matildas squad, for a training camp in Canberra this week.
The squad will be trimmed before a second camp in Sydney on February 20, ahead of the Algarve Cup in Portugal… where the Hunter’s Emily van Egmond will also join the national side.
Coach Alen Stajcic says the new-look Matildas are being prepared for a four-year cycle, taking in the Asian Cup and Toyko Olympics.
