MAN FOUND INJURED ON HUNTER STREET NOW IN STABLE CONDITION

A man found clinging to life on Hunter Street yesterday morning is now in a stable condition.

The 23-year-old remains in John Hunter Hospital suffering head injuries.

Police are investigating how he sustained the injuries – including whether he fell from a building.

Witnesses reported seeing a man running along a roof near the King Street Hotel – moments before he was found unconscious.

The 23-year-old was reportedly refused entry to the nightclub moments earlier.
