ROXY THEATRE BOUND FOR HERITAGE LIST

Bingara’s Roxy Theatre may soon find its way onto the New South Wales heritage register.
The 80-year-old building is being considered by the state heritage council for inclusion in this year’s submissions.
The theatre is thought to be one of only a few original cinema-cafe combinations left in the country.
The building has had a colourful history – from being the most popular venue in town in the 1930s, to now being used as a tourist information centre.
