A man and child made a lucky escape, after their aluminium dinghy sank in Port Macquarie.
The boat was anchored in the mouth of the Hastings River, when it got swamped shortly before midday.
The pair made it to shore safely, before Marine Rescue and lifeguards arrived.
The child was wearing a lifejacket and the boat has since been retrieved.
