A man will appear in court tomorrow, charged over a stabbing at a Lake Macquarie suburb this morning.
Around 5.20am, emergency services responded to reports of an assault at an address on Shelley Street in Toronto.
Police allege that two men became involved in an altercation, when one of the men was stabbed.
The victim, aged 41, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second man, a 43-year-old from Quirindi, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
