Police are on the hunt for two men who held up a licensed premises in Newcastle overnight.
Just before midnight, police responded to reports of a robbery on Elder Street in Lambton.
Police say two men armed with firearms entered the business and assaulted a male staff member.
The masked men stole some money before fleeing in a vehicle.
The staff member was treated at the scene for facial injuries, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
