20 people have been charged with various drug offences following the first day of Subsonic Music Festival in Port Stephens.
With the assistance of the Dog Unit, police conducted a drug operation in the grounds of the festival, at Riverwood Downs, Monkerai between 6pm and midnight.
Police arrested and charged 17 people who were allegedly found in possession of various illicit drugs, including amphetamines, LSD, Ketamine, cannabis and ecstasy.
Three people were also charged with supplying a prohibited drug.
