With less than a month until Christmas, students at Taree Christian College were given a lesson in giving today.
More than 200 boxes have been filled with gifts to be sent overseas for those in need, as part of the Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child.
“All of our students just embrace it enthusiastically and so do their parents, they just love that opportunity to give and to see the excitement too on the students facing who are receiving the gifts, because we get direct footage back of that.”
The school has been involved in the initiative for more than 10 years.
