Police are searching for a man who robbed a young pizza delivery driver at Wauchope shortly before 8:30 last night.
The 18-year-old had just pulled over on Waugh Street, when he was threatened by a man with a metal pole, who then took off with a sum of cash.
Police say the driver was lured to the address.
“We have investigated and we don’t believe that the order was in response to a legitimate call for a pizza delivery,” Mid North Coast Crime Manager Kim Fehon said.
The offender is described as being aged in his 30s, and of a thin build with light coloured hair.
