Cloud has been increasing across eastern Australia today as a slow moving trough moves in triggering intense storms cells making their way across the region this afternoon. This line of instability will produce widespread thunderstorms tonight tracking eastward.
Showers, storms and rain periods will ease across the region tomorrow. Afternoon storms are likely to re ignite the sky over the northern NSW ranges. It will help reduce the amount of pollen and dust particles in the atmosphere delivering some relief to allergy sufferers. The next system to come through on Saturday is now developing over central Australia.
