A police officer has been injured — after he was hit by a car, during an alleged pursuit on the Central Coast.
It’s understood the senior constable – followed a car with stolen plates – into a street in Wyoming, before he got out of his vehicle and was struck.
The officer has been taken to Gosford hospital in a stable condition, with cuts to the head and a knee injury.
Anyone who sees a grey 1990s Mitsubishi magna with plates Y-O-W-2-7-9.. is urged to contact police immediately.
